We are bookending your week, every week with a couple of podcast episodes that we hope can provide insights on how to be a better marketer, sales pro, or operator in your B2B company.
Every Company is a Content Company.
When I first saw this bold proclamation I knew I needed to investigate its origin story.
There’s so much great advocacy for the role of the content marketer in B2B SaaS, but still feels like there’s a lot of work to do. Content marketers are under more pressure now than ever to justify their work into revenue related outcomes.
I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, but it’s important that marketers have the right tools to be able to tell the ROI story. We’re working hard on that at The Juice and it’s amazing to meet other content marketing advocates who share a similar ethos.
Anirudh Singla is the Founder & CEO at Pepper Content. He started the company in college because of the conviction that he had about the ability for content marketing to transform how businesses worked. I had an amazing conversation with him about the role content plays in growing businesses and the revolution of content marketing platforms.
Anirudh is ambitious and loves making bold statements.
He called Pepper Content the “Salesforce for Content Marketing”.
That’s the type of content conviction that I can get behind.
It’s launch week at The Juice! Whenever we launch something new into the B2B marketing universe we always want to give as much context behind the decision. There’s so many new shiny bells and whistles available to us as marketers, however, in many cases we don’t get a peak behind the curtain as to why those things are built. We’re trying to buck that trend and that’s why we decided to drop today’s conversation.
I’m joined by Chris Vannoy, VP, of Product & Engineering at The Juice to discuss the launch of The Juice’s HubSpot integration. We are launching the integration this week to help marketers use content distribution to drive revenue and Chris shares the reasons on why we prioritized this release.
In this episode we cover:
- Partnering with HubSpot: Why the process to build was seamless and how it will be easy for marketers to get up and running
- Drive revenue: How integrating with marketer’s primary system of record can help drive value and exposure the power of content marketing
- Surprises along the way: Different use cases that have been learned from customers that have us thinking differently about all of the possibilities
