We are bookending your week, every week with a couple of podcast episodes that we hope can provide insights on how to be a better marketer, sales pro, or operator in your B2B company.
Have your social feeds been flooded with posts on community building, too?
Over the last few months it seems like every app I’ve opened has been flooded with conversation around how to build a community. Some of the content that followed was good and insightful and others not so much. The topic of how to build a community the right way is interesting to me and figured others might learn from a deeper exploration of it.
Allie Dyer Bluemel at Census has a ton of experience around content and community building and had her on the show last week. Make sure you check out the episode if you are interested in learning about her process and knowledge on it.
We’ve been enjoying digging into The Juice to find content that helps us address current problems that we are working through as a business. If you’ve been following the podcast you know that we’ve been having a lot of conversations around implementing a PLG model and the implications. PLG has been gaining a lot of traction internally for our team and we’ve been researching some of the experts in B2B around it.
Last week we came across a conversation that was so good that we decided to create an episode about it. It was between Breezy Beaumont and David Rostan about “How to Use Freemium Products to Gain Paying Customers”. We took a ton of notes and will going back to Correlated’s content and we continue our conversations about PLG at The Juice.
In this episode we cover:
- Why PLG works: what are the benefits and how to use them to deliver value to your future customers
- Experimentation: why learning from your failures is critical when building out a PLG strategy
- Freemium model: what works, what doesn’t, and how to use freemium to build brand
If you enjoy what we are doing we’d love for you to do some things:
