We are bookending your week, every week with a couple of podcast episodes that we hope can provide insights on how to be a better marketer, sales pro, or operator in your B2B company.
I flew solo on the Monday edition of the podcast. I spent this week sharing why curation is so important to the marketing strategy that we are running at The Juice. We believe that sharing other people’s content and collaborating with like-minded people provides value to our audience. We are a year into it and share some of my key takeaways on the episode.
I had an awesome opportunity to learn about the art of the follow up question from Michael Ashford who is the Director of Marketing at The Receptionist. Michael also runs a podcast that is aptly named, The Follow Up Question that explores how to find common ground through the power of asking the right questions. I thought I knew a thing or two about asking until I spoke to Michael and we unpack the art behind it on this episode.
In this episode we discuss:
- Curiosity vs. certainty: How do we balance these two ingredients when asking questions
- Resonance: Defining resonance and how thinking about it the right way can lead you down a path of making stronger connections
- The art of questioning: How to put yourself in a position to ask the right questions at the right time
If you enjoy what we are doing we’d love for you to do some things 🧃:
